My name is Debbie Nickey and I am a certified pet stylist.
I am from Baltimore and I now live in the Elkridge, Columbia area. I thoroughly enjoy working with the dogs.
I attended one of the best grooming schools in the country The Baltimore School of Dog Grooming. The two instructors at the school have more than 75 years of experience in teaching. The curriculum was more than just clip backs and hand scissor finishing it also covered behavior, health, structure and breed standards. After graduating from grooming school I worked at a kennel that was owned by a breeder, handler in the dog show industry. The wealth of information I have received from this breeder of many years and my instructors at BSDG has been a valuable experience for me to become the dog groomer I always wanted for my own pets. I have been continuing my education by attending Pet CPR First aid class, trade shows and grooming seminars.I also plan to compete in grooming competitions in the near future.

Quality not quantity: After the experience and the knowledge I have received I realized what pet owners want from their groomer. Determined, I set out to find a solution for pet owners. I have found that there is a need for a more personal touch. The assembly line approach a lot of you are used to is not my approach. I offer the One on One stress free dog grooming experience service for your pet that a home groomer can offer. I groom in my home with the same gentle care your pet receives in your home. No rushing around to get too many dogs groomed. I take the time needed to make the grooming experience enjoyable for your pet. Your pet will also have the same groomer every time. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
